Common error codes

ERROR 10: A game object cannot be validated.

This is a generic error to suggest a game object has become corrupt or invalid.

To fix this you can try the following in order:

  • Restart the game.
  • If you have linked your account via email, uninstall the game and install it fresh again. For more on account linking see the Linking Accounts section.
  • If none of the above works, you can create a new support ticket mentioning Error 10, and we can help resolve the issue.

 

ERROR 11: World data cannot be validated.

This error suggests your world data has become out of sync with our servers. It could be because it has local modifications, or that a recent change was made to the world data.

To fix this you can try the following in order:

  • Restart the game.
  • Wait an hour or two, then try restarting again. Data may have gone wrong on the server temporarily and our developers may fix it soon.
  • If the problem is happening on Steam. From the Steam Library right click Gems of War, then go to Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache
  • If you have linked your account via email, uninstall the game and install it fresh again. For more on account linking see the Linking Accounts section.
  • If none of the above works, you can create a new support ticket mentioning Error 11, and we can help resolve the issue.


ERROR 12: A game file has been changed or corrupted.

This error suggests your save game file has become corrupt.

To fix this you can try the following in order:

  • Restart the game.
  • If you have linked your account via email, uninstall the game and install it fresh again. For more on account linking see the Linking Accounts section.
  • If none of the above works, you can create a new support ticket mentioning Error 12, and we can help resolve the issue.

 

ERROR 13: An asset has failed to load or is corrupt.

This error suggests an asset is either corrupt on our servers, or within your device's cache.

To fix this you can try the following in order:

  • Restart the game.
  • Wait an hour or two, then try restarting again. Data may have gone wrong on the server temporarily and our developers may fix it soon.
  • If you have linked your account via email, uninstall the game and install it fresh again. For more on account linking see the Linking Accounts section.
  • If none of the above works, you can create a new support ticket mentioning Error 13, and we can help resolve the issue.
