How to take a screenshot or photo of the game on PC, mobile, Xbox, PS4.
If you experience a bug or technical issue in Gems of War it can help the support team resolve your problem if you share a screenshot. This can be attached in the My Activities section of the help center in your email software using the attachments icon.

On PC
There are a few ways to take screenshots on a PC, choose whichever is easiest for you:
Using the "prt sc" button on your keyboard:
- Click the Gems of War window to make it your active window.
- Hold down the "alt" key and press the "prt sc" key.
- Open Microsoft Paint and hold down "ctrl" and press "v"
- Save the file as a JPG
Taking a Screenshot through Steam:
- While running the game on Steam you can push F12 button on your keyboard
- You will get a notification that the screenshot has been saved
- Once you have the screenshots you need, close the game
- Open Steam and in your game Library, right click Gems of War
- Select View Screenshots
- In the new menu, Select the Image you want, then click Show on Disk (this will open up the file location of your computer). Leave this open so you can reference the location later.
Windows Snipping Tool:
- Search for the word "snip" (without the " ") in your windows search bar
- Open the Snipping Tool
- Click the "New" button
- Click and drag your mouse pointer to highlight the area you wish to screenshot
- In the snipping tool select file > save as
Once you've saved a screenshot:
- Open your support request and click on "Attach File"
- Select the screenshot
On Android
In order to take a screenshot on your Android device, press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time. You'll see an animation on the screen, indicating that the screen photo was saved.
Once you've saved a screenshot:
- Open your support request and click on "Attach File"
- Select the screenshot
On iOS
In order to take a screenshot on your iOS device, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top or side of your device. Immediately press and release the Home button.
To find your screenshot, go to the Photos app > Albums and tap Camera Roll.
Once you've saved a screenshot:
- Open your support request and click on "Attach File"
- Select the screenshot
On Xbox
In order to take a screenshot on your Xbox, double-tap the Xbox button on your controller, then press the Y button to save the screenshot.
Once you've saved a screenshot:
- Ensure your Xbox Live Profile is set to public and that the screenshot has finished uploading
- Open your support ticket and let us know your Gamer tag
On PlayStation
The easiest way to take and send us a screenshot of your PlayStation screen is to use your phone. If you have a smart phone please follow the steps for Android or iOS above.
You can also use your PC to send us a screenshot which you took using your PlayStation.
In order to take a screenshot on your PlayStation, press and hold the Share button on your controller for a second, then press the triangle button to save the screenshot.
To transfer the image to your PC:
- Insert a USB into your PlayStation
- Go to the PlayStation home screen
- Go to the Capture Gallery
- Find the screenshot and press the option button on your controller
- Select "Copy to USB Storage Device"
- Plug the USB into your PC
- Open your Support ticket with us and select "attach file"
- Select the screenshot.
On Switch
In order to take a screenshot on your Switch, press the Capture Button on the left Joy-Con.
To view your screenshots, go to the Album within the HOME Menu.
To transfer the image to your smart device:
- On the HOME Menu select "Album" then select a screenshot or video capture.
- Select "Sharing and Editing", then select "Send to Smartphone"
- Select either "Only This One" or "Send a Batch"
- Using the camera on your smart device, scan the QR code displayed on Nintendo Switch.
