Text for assets such as troops, Kingdoms, and menu etc are replaced with template text such as "[####_NAME]", "[Guild] [3001_Name]" etc.
Fixing the problem
To resolve this issue ensure you are logged into the Xbox Live account. If you are logged in you will not lose your game progress. Next, delete your Gems of War save data. If this does not work, try to reinstall Gems of War. Please contact support and let us know:
- What language settings is your Xbox on?
- Is this the same as the language set inside Gems of War?
- When the game first started to show the issue, did it download anything when opening?
Your account progress is tied to the Xbox Live account used to download Gems of War and is linked to our servers, so your game progress will not be lost.
