Can't update Gems of War

If you can't update the game try reinstalling it. It may also not yet be available on your platform.

Reinstalling the game

If you see other players using the latest game version but you can't update the game automatically from the App or Store of your platform, try reinstalling the game: 

1. Android, iOS and Amazon
   • If reinstalling does not resolve this you can manually download the game as file for Android. Learn more here.
2. Steam
3. Xbox One and PS4

This will force the game to recognise new files that are ready for download.

NOTE: If you are playing on mobile, ensure your account is linked before reinstalling.

Update not available on the store

Although the update is released, it may take some time to appear as available on the App Store or store. 

Most Gems of War updates release at 12 AM GMT, however, it can take up to 24 hours to leave the server and arrive on every device and platform. Console and Steam should automatically update. Steam can be faster, and iOS, Android and Amazon may take the longest. 

When is the next update?

We can't provide exact dates or times that the update will release as the schedules can change. Updates must also pass certification for each platform, quality assurance (QA) and publishing before they are approved.
