If you have just purchased a Weapon with Gems and it is not appearing in the game, restart the game.
Weapons can sometimes take some time to show in "Owned" Weapons if you have just bought them from an Event or the Shop with Gems. This can happen if the game was open over Daily Reset.
NOTE: If you are missing a Weapon after a real money purchase, contact support here.
To fix the issue
Restart your game by completely force closing and opening it again. The game might not have the correct data from the server, and restarting will correct this. Make sure you've completed a battle before restarting otherwise you will lose your battle's progress.
Here's how to restart the game on each platform:
Android and Amazon
- Open your device's Settings App.
- Scroll down and tap Apps in the Device section of the menu.
- Scroll down and select Gems of War
- Tap Stop or FORCE STOP.
- Tap OK to confirm. This forces the app to quit and halts background processes
- Reopen the game.

Steam
- Press the following keys at the same time: Ctrl Shift Esc. This will launch the Windows Task Manager.
- Select the Processes tab.
- Find and select the game's executable file (GemsOfWar 32 Bit)
- Right-click on the selected process.
- Select "End Process" or "End Task".
- If Windows asks you to confirm that you wish to quit this game, click the "End Process" button to confirm
- Reopen the game.
iOS
- On an iPhone X or later or an iPad with iOS 12, from the Home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause slightly in the middle of the screen.
- On an iPhone 8 or earlier, double-click the Home button to show your most recently used apps
- Swipe right or left to find the app that you want to close.
- Swipe up on the app's preview to close the app
- Reopen the game.
PlayStation 4
- Select the PlayStation button on the controller
- Once the PlayStation menu that appears, select the Options button on the controller
- In the sidebar on the right, ‘Close application’
- On the confirmation screen that appears select ‘Ok’
- Reopen the game.
Xbox
- Start by pressing the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Verify that the game or app you wish to close is highlighted from the mini-guide on the left side of the screen, and then press the Menu button on your controller.
- Select Quit
- Reopen the game.
