World Events are week long Events inspired by the Gems of War world of Krystara. Each World event runs for 1 week and has its own unique Lore and objectives.
Overview
You can find World Events by opening the Guild menu on the World Map.
Each World Event will have a unique name, for example, the first ever World Event is called Council of Chiefs. Some World Events will be Guild wide and require your whole Guild to collaborate, while some will be individual and you'll have to complete it yourself to earn the Rewards.
Note: You will need to be in a Guild to participate in World Events even if it's an individual event.
On the World Event Overview screen you can see:
- The Lore for the current event which include your objective
- Your current score
- How many Sigils you have
- The Medal you can earn in the event
Every battle in the event costs 1 Sigil to play. Every player will receive 4 Sigils at the start of each day (07:00AM GMT), you can gain more by defeating Valravens or purchasing them in the World Event Shop.
Fight
On the Fight tab you will have a selection of battles you can choose from.
You can see the difficulty of each battle by the rarity colour and level of each battle.
- Common = Grey
- Rare = Green
- Ultra-Rare = Dark blue
- Epic = Purple
- Legendary = Orange
- Mythic = Light blue
The Opposing team's level will increase every time you fight that team.
For example, if I choose to fight Sol'Zara's Shamans at level 30 in the screenshot below, the next time Sol'Zara's Shamans appear it will be level 35, or if I fight Gargantaur's Giants at level 20, the next time Gargantaur's Giants appear they will be level 25.
You can fight battles in any order you want and based on your choices your event battles will progress slightly differently to your friends who choose a different path but the Rewards will average out across the different paths you can take.
Meet your objective to earn Rewards
As you meet your objective you'll earn points which will unlock Rewards in the Rewards screen.
Each World Event will have a different objective and scoring method so ensure you check the Overview screen to see what you should do to earn points. In the example in this article we're collecting Orc Skulls!
Note: For Guild World Events you must be in the Guild when the Reward stage is closed in order to collect the rewards. If you change Guilds you will miss the reward from the Guild that completed the Reward stage.
Event Tokens, Badges and Medals
Each World Event will have special Event Tokens you can earn to create Badges and Medals which will only work in the current Event. At the end of the Event these Tokens, Badges and Medals will turn into Tokens, Badges and Medals of Seasons which can be used normally like the Tokens, Badges and Medals you find in Explore. See this article for more details.

The Leaderboard shows the top 100 Guilds or players globally for your Platform who have the highest scores during the current World event. The Guilds or players in the Top 100 will earn extra rewards when the event is over. You can also see how you compare with the rest of the community here.
Tips
- Sigils will accumulate day to day during the event. You will earn 4 each day, however they will not carry over into the next event, so ensure you use them before Weekly Reset
- If you want to spend the least Gems possible, try purchasing to at least enough Tiers to receive 3 Event Tokens so you can get at least 1 Event Badge to equip. If there is a special Weapon avilable you may want to purchase to up to the Tier containing the Weapon.
